What to use it on:
Originally, we developed this sauce from our family recipe here in the heart of North Carolina and used it as a traditional North Carolina barbecue sauce. It works perfectly for smoking pork, chicken, or ribs and adding it as a tasty topping at the end as well, to bring that kick of flavor to North Carolina barbecue.
But as time went on, it’s morphed into an “everything sauce.” It’s great on pork, chicken, beef, ribs, burgers, hot dogs…it enhances the flavor of…well, just about everything.
We like to use it while cooking to bring that extra flavor to any meal, add it to sandwiches, burgers, and more, and of course, we still use it for good ole’ pulled pork barbecue.
We also think it’s great as a dipping sauce, and you can even mix it with your favorite ranch dressing to create a creamy, tangy sauce that rivals the best condiments out there.
